We cannot stress enough how fantastic Katie & Matthew were throughout the whole process; reassuring, professional and calmly organised in a way that ensured everything fell into place. They were more than happy to answer any question we had, going above and beyond the necessary to sort logistics such as banqueting hire and ice. They even came the day before to help us set up and work through any last minute issues. On the day itself, they catered for 120 guests in a marquee in the heat of high summer with total ease. Not forgetting - the food itself! Served with beautiful presentation, on time and we have received SO many compliments from our guests. Katie & Matthew are amazing… from booking my daughter’s wedding breakfast and evening catering with GLC last year to the wedding day itself on 27.06.26 their attention to detail, communication and professionalism was unbelievable! The wedding breakfast was absolutely fantastic… Arancini balls, Belly pork & Toffee cheesecake were exceptional and all prepared, cooked, served and cleared away in a heatwave! Drinks on arrival, table service, cutting the cake, evening food ..everything was perfect and they were so attentive.. nothing was too much trouble. We’ve had so many comments and messages saying they’ve never had food like it at a wedding… so many compliments! They were so organised and helpful in the run up to the wedding, it made the whole process easy. Not only was the food amazing but the fact that the timeline shifted massively due to unforeseen circumstances and yet the Gold Leaf team still smashed it, everything was perfect! I cannot recommend Gold Leaf Catering enough! Matthew and Katie were absolutely fantastic from start to finish, working with us us to cater our family celebration dinner for my Mum's 70th. Their communication was brilliant - always so clear and timely and with such helpful guidance; the set up and serving of the food ran like clockwork; the food itself was all absolutely delicious and so beautifully presented (all our guests were blown away by the meal!) and they cleared up impeccably at the end of the night. From the very start Matt & Katie at GoldLeaf were absolutely fantastic. Whether it was a question about the food or even the hire of plates/cutlery etc (not even their domain) they were always on hand to support. The food was bloody fantastic, and complemented by all our guests! Especially the Chicken Katsu bites, delicious! We’d requested they bagged up some leftovers and goodies for us to enjoy the next day and they still tasted as good! Thank you to you and your team for being a big part of our day! Goldleaf catering are excellent caterers. We chose them again for our second daughters wedding as they did such a fantastic event for our first wedding . Great menus, with choice of food at each of 3 courses. Food served piping hot, table by table , and superbly cooked. Nothing is too much trouble .
