Matthew and Katie were absolutely fantastic from start to finish, working with us us to cater our family celebration dinner for my Mum's 70th. Their communication was brilliant - always so clear and timely and with such helpful guidance; the set up and serving of the food ran like clockwork; the food itself was all absolutely delicious and so beautifully presented (all our guests were blown away by the meal!) and they cleared up impeccably at the end of the night. From the very start Matt & Katie at GoldLeaf were absolutely fantastic. Whether it was a question about the food or even the hire of plates/cutlery etc (not even their domain) they were always on hand to support. The food was bloody fantastic, and complemented by all our guests! Especially the Chicken Katsu bites, delicious! We’d requested they bagged up some leftovers and goodies for us to enjoy the next day and they still tasted as good! Thank you to you and your team for being a big part of our day! We chose them again for our second daughters wedding as they did such a fantastic event for our first wedding . Great menus, with choice of food at each of 3 courses. Food served piping hot, table by table , and superbly cooked. Nothing is too much trouble . The food was amazing, from the canapés to the 3 course dinner, as well as their excellent service behind the bar, making cocktails and even baby Guinness's, everything was perfect. They catered for our 120-people Norfolk wedding and from the start the communication was seamless. Katie and Matthew came the day before and helped us set up all the tables, ran through the whole day and were super flexible with last minute changes. We realized we were missing some plates and they worked together with us to get it sorted, helping us do it sensibly without spending a fortune to get something last minute. The food was absolutely incredible and they made our wedding day the best - from the impeccable service, to the seamless coordination between all the staff, very friendly faces and also some of the best cocktails we’ve ever had. As you can see the reviews are amazing but it’s hard to describe how great of a job they did, I think the only way to understand is to book them for your own wedding. I don’t think I’ve ever met anyone as thoughtful and good at their jobs as Matthew and Katie. They are an amazing pair and they quite literally made wedding planning the easiest thing, completely taking out any of the stress for us. Booking Goldleaf was worth every penny and I would love to have the wedding all over again just so we can try the food again! They were so accommodating to us and our dog Sally who they gave lots of fuss and attention to which meant so much to us. From the first tasting the food was out of this world!
